Southpoint Youth
We want every family to grow in Worship, Love, and Service to God.
Our youth ministry team teaches the Bible and partners with families to help every student grow as part of the Southpoint Church Family.
Where do I start?
Worship together as a family on Sundays.
Teens attend a grade-specific Sunday Bible class divided into Middle School (7th-9th) & High School (10th-12th).
Who will be at classes & other youth activities?
Teachers & chaperones include members of the ministry staff as well as parent volunteers who've been vetted & approved by our elders.
Friends in a church youth group make all the difference. We currently average fifteen students per class and up to thirty at various activities. Not so big you get lost, and not so small you'll stand out.
How else can you get involved?
Sunday and Wednesday nights are a prime opportunity to get to know other students better. We offer a mix of short Bible lessons, singing, game nights, & often a home cooked meal.
Come & make a friend, or bring a friend!
How can I serve?
Families can engage in a variety of service opportunities. We sing hymns for retirement homes, cook meals for our local Children's Mercy Ronald McDonald House, and honor parents & seniors with special meals. Families also serve the church by helping with setup & clean-up for our monthly Fellowship Meals.
